Comparison
Househound vs Binsr Inspect: price, forms, and fees (2026)
Short answer
Binsr Inspect is a newer platform (launched November 2025) that costs $75 per inspector per month on Standard, or $75 plus $4 per completed inspection on Pro, which carries its AI tools, SMS automations, pay splits and API, webhook and MCP access. It's ahead on card fees (2.9% + $0.30 at cost, plus ACH), Florida roof and WDO forms, the Texas WDI, official form PDFs, SMS, an API and websites. Househound costs $99 a month for the first inspector and $69 for each added one, with nothing per inspection and Autodraft (spoken notes turned into drafted findings from your own comment library) included. Binsr Standard is cheaper up to 4 inspectors, the same at 5, and costs more from 6; for one inspector, Pro costs more than Househound from the 7th inspection a month.

Which to choose
Choose Househound if
- You do more than 6 inspections a month and want drafting from your notes. Autodraft is part of Househound's $99, while Binsr's voice quick-add and comment tools sit on Pro at $4 per completed inspection.
- You want one flat price that doesn't move with volume: $99 for the first inspector and $69 for each added one, no per-inspection fee on any plan. From 6 inspectors up, that's less than Binsr Standard at list price.
- You want video clips and 360° photos and video inside the findings, viewable in the client's browser.
- You'd rather your software company had no investors. Househound is independently owned; Binsr is venture-backed.
- You want booking that knows crew size: set how many inspectors a job takes, offer only times when that many are free, and assign them on confirm.
Choose Binsr Inspect if
- You want the lowest monthly price for a small team. Standard is $75 per inspector, cheaper than Househound up to 4 inspectors, and stacked discounts (FOUNDER code, InterNACHI, veteran) bring it to $57.50.
- You want to pay less per card payment, or accept bank payments. Binsr passes Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30 through at cost and offers ACH at 0.8%.
- You need Florida's roof or WDO form, the Texas WDI, or the official Florida PDFs filled in. Binsr includes all of them; Househound's Florida wind mitigation and 4-Point print as its own layout of the form's questions.
- Your agents want a portal that lists every inspection they have with you, and a repair request they can send by email or text. Househound's repair request is shared as a link or copied text, and the buyer sends it.
- You connect other software. Pro includes an API, webhooks and MCP access, and Pro adds SMS automations.
- You want a website from the same company: Binsr sells Websites & SEO for $100 a month.

How much does Binsr Inspect cost in 2026?
Binsr Inspect costs $75 per inspector per month on Standard. Pro is $75 per inspector per month plus $4 for every completed inspection. Admin and office seats are free. Househound is $99 a month for the first inspector and $69 for each added one, or $990 and $690 a year billed annually, with no per-inspection fee on any plan.
Assumptions: list prices on October 27, 2026, monthly billing, no discount codes, card fees left out. Pro figures assume each inspector completes the same number of inspections.
| Who | Binsr Standard | Binsr Pro | Househound |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 inspector, 10 inspections a month | $75 | $115 | $99 |
| 1 inspector, 25 inspections a month | $75 | $175 | $99 |
| 1 inspector, 100 inspections a month | $75 | $475 | $99 |
| 3 inspectors, 25 each | $225 | $525 | $237 |
| 5 inspectors, 25 each | $375 | $875 | $375 |
| 10 inspectors, 25 each | $750 | $1,750 | $720 |
At list price, Standard is cheaper than Househound up to 4 inspectors, the same at 5 ($375), and costs more from 6 ($450 against $444). For one inspector, Pro passes Househound's price at the 7th completed inspection of the month ($75 + 7 × $4 = $103). Each added inspector on Pro costs more than Househound's $69 before any inspection fee.
Binsr's discounts stack: 10% off for life with the FOUNDER code (first 500 customers), $5 off per inspector for InterNACHI members, and $5 off for veterans, which brings Standard to $57.50, cheaper than Househound at every size for anyone who qualifies for all three. Its SWITCH2026 code takes 50% off the first 3 months and expires December 31, 2026. An annual toggle appears on the pricing page without published figures. Househound's annual plan is $990 for the first inspector and $690 for each added one; it has no discount codes. For the wider category, see what home inspection software costs.
What does a card payment cost on each?
On a $450 inspection paid by card, Binsr's pass-through rate takes $13.35 and Househound takes $15.03. Binsr is cheaper per payment.
- Binsr Inspect: 2.9% + $0.30 per card payment and 0.8% for ACH bank transfers, which Binsr says it passes through at cost.
- Househound: 3.25% + $0.40 per payment, with Stripe's processing included, so it's the only deduction. Money goes to your own Stripe account. Househound takes cards only, with no ACH.
At 25 card payments of $450 a month, that's about $334 on Binsr and about $376 on Househound. Househound's fee is how it charges for payments beyond the seat; Binsr's Pro charges $4 per completed inspection instead, whether or not the client pays by card.
Drafting findings: Binsr's AI tools and Autodraft
Both turn spoken notes into report text, and they price it differently.
Binsr names AI Voice Quick Add, AI Instructions, an AI Assistant, AI Image Annotation, AI comment merging and an AI-powered template importer. The voice, photo, annotation, instruction and comment-combining tools are on Pro, which adds $4 per completed inspection. Its FAQ marks AI Photo Quick Add and AI Galleries as coming soon.
Househound's Autodraft takes a spoken note on the phone (or a typed or recorded note on the web), picks the area and item, and then reuses a comment from your library word for word, adapts one, or writes a new one, with a suggested severity and recommendation. It always lands as a draft you edit and save, and nothing reaches the client until you do. Notes recorded with no signal are drafted when the phone reconnects. It's part of the $99 with no per-inspection charge.
Where Binsr Inspect is ahead
Binsr ships a lot for a product that launched in November 2025, and several of those things Househound doesn't have.
- Price for small teams. $75 per inspector on Standard, with free admin seats and stackable discounts. At list price it's cheaper than Househound up to 4 inspectors.
- Card and bank fees. Stripe's rate at cost, and ACH at 0.8%.
- Florida and Texas forms. Official Florida 4-Point, Wind Mit, Roof and WDO PDFs, the Texas WDI, and a KC Bartley TREC template. Househound has TREC REI 7-6, Florida wind mitigation and the Citizens 4-Point, printed as its own layout of the form's questions, and no Florida roof or WDO form or Texas WDI. Both products have the NPMA-33.
- For agents. A portal link listing every inspection the agent has with you, and a Repair Request Builder they can share by link, email or text. Househound's repair request is shared as a link or copied text, and Househound doesn't send it to anyone.
- Text messages, through Pro's SMS automations.
- API, webhooks and MCP access on Pro. Househound has no customer-facing integrations.
- Websites. A website and SEO product for $100 a month.
Who owns Binsr Inspect?
Binsr Inspect is run by Home Solutions US Corp., the name in its site footer. In November 2025 it announced a $1.1 million pre-seed round led by New Stack Ventures and Silence VC, and said it was based in the Phoenix metro area and remote-first.
Its team page names co-founder and CEO Mark Garcia and co-founder Aryash Dubey. Ownership beyond the funding announcement isn't published. If who stands behind your software matters to you, it's a fair question to ask any vendor, including us.
Househound is independently owned, with no investors and no parent company. Inspection data is never sold and never used to market to your clients, and card payments go straight to your own Stripe account.
What your client receives
Both deliver a digital report and a PDF, and both let the buyer's agent turn findings into a repair request.
Binsr delivers digital and PDF reports, with client and agent dashboards. Agents can pull items straight from the report into a repair request.
Househound's report is a link that opens on any phone with no login, with a PDF download of the same report; the delivery email links to the PDF rather than attaching it. It leads with a count of major, moderate and minor findings and a filter for the major ones, plays video inside the finding, and opens 360° photos in the browser. Each publish is a dated version. Clients and agents get a portal with reports, agreements and invoices.
The client or buyer's agent can pick deficiencies, choose repair, replace, evaluate or a credit, and share the request as a link, copy it as text for the repair addendum, download a CSV or print it. With translations turned on, the client can also switch the report to Spanish or French, translated automatically, with English as the version that governs.
What moving from Binsr to Househound involves
Your templates and comment wording can come across, along with your past reports as PDFs and, from a spreadsheet, your clients and agents. The schedule starts fresh.
Save a long Binsr report as a PDF and import it on Househound's Templates page, which rebuilds the areas, items and comments into a template you review. Up to 10 files go in at once, 20 MB each. If you can export your clients and agents from Binsr as a CSV or Excel file, import them under People → Clients or Agents → Import contacts… on the web. Save PDFs of past reports and upload them to the past-report archive (Reports → Archive → Past reports), where they're read-only, searchable and shareable. Payments run through a Stripe account connected to Househound, with the money landing in your account. If you're coming from another product, our switching guides cover the common ones.
Questions
Is Binsr Inspect worth it?
On price, often yes. Standard is $75 per inspector a month with free admin seats, PDF reports, Florida and Texas forms, an agent portal and real-time collaboration. Its voice and AI tools, SMS and API are on Pro, which adds $4 per completed inspection. It launched in November 2025, so it has a short track record.
What is the best Binsr Inspect alternative?
If you want drafting from your notes with no per-inspection charge, video and 360° in the report, Spanish and French versions, and an independently owned company, Househound does that at $99 a month for the first inspector and $69 for each added one. If you need Florida roof and WDO forms, the Texas WDI, SMS and an API, Binsr has them, starting at $75 per inspector. Every comparison is on the compare page.
How much does Binsr Pro cost?
Binsr Pro is $75 per inspector per month plus $4 for each completed inspection. At 25 inspections a month that's $175 for one inspector.
Does Binsr Inspect work offline?
Yes. Binsr's Report Builder app works offline and syncs when you reconnect. Househound also works offline on mobile and downloads inspections within a week of today automatically.
Can I import my Binsr templates into Househound?
Yes, from a report. Save a finished Binsr report as a PDF and import it on Househound's Templates page; it rebuilds the areas, items and comments into a template you review. Past report PDFs go into the read-only past-report archive, and a client list imports from a CSV or Excel file.
Does Househound have a PDF report?
Yes. Reports are delivered as a link, with a PDF download of the same report. The delivery email links to the PDF rather than attaching it. Binsr also delivers PDF reports.
Does Househound send texts?
No. Househound sends email only. Binsr includes SMS automations on its Pro plan.
Does Househound have an API like Binsr?
No. Househound has no customer-facing API, webhooks or integrations. Binsr includes API, webhook and MCP access on Pro.
